Returns & Exchanges
Returns will be accepted within 30 days from purchase with a receipt for in-store credit or exchange. Shipping fees are non-returnable. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees. Any broken or damaged items in shipping must be reported immediately. Please call or email and provide evidence of defect.
All sales are final on the following items:
Special Order items in custom finish/color- Any non-stock item is considered special order
On-line orders of fountains
Pumps & Water Gardening equipment (used and not in original packaging)
We collect 6% Pennsylvania sales tax at our store and on all orders shipped to addresses in Pennsylvania. In all other locations, such as the Philadelphia Flower Show, we collect the sales tax applicable to that location.
In the case of on-line & phone orders, residents in other states are responsible for complying with local state tax laws.
Local orders may be picked up at our store in Aston, PA. We also provide a delivery service within the tri-state Philadelphia metro area. However, we can also deliver further afield and would be happy to provide you with a quote. Please feel free to contact us any time to discuss your questions about the delivery of your particular item.
Smaller items are generally shipped UPS or USPS. In-stock items are processed and shipped in 3-5 business days. Special Order items may take 4-6 weeks from time of ordering. Larger items may be shipped by a shipping carrier, depending on where the item is being shipped to. Whatever the size of your item, Dutchman Fountains will be happy to provide you with a shipping quote at the time of ordering.
Dutchman Fountains is not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the carrier. Shipping costs are determined by the weight of the items purchased, the method of shipping and the destination address.
Once an order is given to a shipping carrier, the package then becomes that carrier’s responsibility and Dutchman Fountains is no longer responsible. A tracking number will be provided so that you can monitor the shipment of your order. If insurance is required, please contact us directly at the time of ordering. If an item is shipped by a shipping carrier, such as DHL, you will be contacted by the carrier to set up a delivery date and time. The trucking company will unload your package but it is not their responsibility to assist you in the final placement of your item.
All orders are wrapped and packaged with extreme care. Please inspect the item upon delivery. Should any damages have occurred in the shipping process, please note the damage on the driver’s delivery slip and also notify us by phone or email. The manufacturer may request photos of the damaged product in order to replace the item or provide a credit. You may also be required to keep the damaged product and all shipping materials until the shipping carrier inspects the damage. Dutchman Fountains will never share with a third party any personal information that you provide during your visit.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover, as well as Paypal. Checks must be accompanied by proof of identity.
